YOUTH (AGES 10 to 15 YEARS)
Youths are authorized to participate with their parents or legal guardians in Fitness Center Activities after they complete a Youth Clinic (orientation). The clinic provides information on safety, equipment, and programming in the Fitness Center. To complete this clinic, the parent or legal guardian must complete a Youth Clinic form and submit a sports physical with completed form. Once form and sports physical are received, a trainer with set up a time to complete the Clinic. Youth who complete the clinic will receive a wristband that must be presented along with their ID at each visit to the Fitness Center.
YOUTH (AGES 16 and UP)
Can work out unaccompanied.
DRESS CODE
Appropriate gym attire and footwear at all times. Please reference appropriate attire signs posted in all facilities.
No boots.
Appropriate length shorts.
Sports bras or exposed undergarments and midsections must be covered.
No altered shirts.
No obscene or offensive print or pictures on clothing.
Non-marking rubber-soled shoes.
Rubber or plastic sweat suits are prohibited.
Use of high-altitude masks are prohibited within facility.
RESERVATIONS
Reservations for Command PT’s, Command functions may be made from 24 Hours in advance.
Limited to one hour per Command per week.
Racquetball reservations will be canceled 10 minutes after appointed time.
LOCKER SERVICE
Daily locker uses at no charge.
Locks are not provided.
Items stored in lockers must be removed by the end of business day.
Locks remaining after 24 hours will be cut off at owners' expense.
Wallet lockers available with locks.
MWR is not responsible for items stored in lockers.
No photography or videography.
No food permitted in cardio room, weight room, functional fitness room, basketball courts, or racquetball courts.
Gym bags and personal items must be secured in lockers.
No profanity or abusive language.
Re-rack your weights.
Return equipment after use.
Safety collars must be used at all times.
Wipe down equipment after use.
MWR NAS Pensacola/Corry Station hosts two Child Development Centers (CDC) facilities located on base at NAS Pensacola and off-base housing behind NEX at Corry Station. Our program offers full-time and hourly care for children ages six weeks to five years old. Hourly care is based on availability, and reservations can be made 30 days in advance.
