Family Fitness Center

The Family Fitness Center has everything you need for your health and wellness goals including Group Exercise Classes, Command PT Classes, personal training, Fun Runs and more! This facility also is unique as it provides opportunities for parents to work out while their children can play in an enclosed area in front of them. Parents are responsible for their children.

YOUTH (AGES 10 to 15 YEARS)
A Youth Clinic (Orientation) is available for youths 10-15 years.  The clinic provides information on safety, equipment, and programming in the Fitness Center.  A sports physical must be completed prior to clinic with Trainers. Youth who complete the clinic receive a card and wristband that must be presented along with their ID at each visit to the Fitness Center.  Youth will then be authorized to participate with their parents or legal guardians in Fitness Center Activities.  They must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian at all times. Set up a Youth Orientation with a trainer. 

YOUTH (AGES 16 and UP)
Can work out unaccompanied. 

DRESS CODE
Appropriate gym attire and footwear at all times. Please reference appropriate attire signs posted in all facilities. 
Appropriate length shorts.
Sports bras or exposed undergarments and midsections must be covered.
No altered shirts.
No obscene or offensive print or pictures on clothing.
No boots and utes.
Non-marking rubber-soled shoes.
Rubber suits are prohibited. 


RESERVATIONS
Reservations for Command PT’s, Command functions may be made from 24 Hours to a week in advance.
Limited to one per Command per week.
Limited to one hour per Command per week.

LOCKER AND TOWEL SERVICE
Daily locker use at no charge.
Locks are not provided, please bring your own.
Items stored in lockers must be removed by the end of business day.
Locks remaining after 24 hours will be cut off at owners expense.
Wallet lockers available.
Workout towels available.
MWR is not responsible for items stored in lockers.

 

GENERAL FITNESS CENTER GUIDELINES

No photography.
No workout videos are authorized. 
No food in cardio rooms, weight rooms or functional fitness rooms.
Secure gym bags and personal items in lockers.
No profanity or abusive language.
Re-rack your weights. 
Return equipment after use.
Safety collars must be used.
Wipe down equipment after use.

CHILDCARE (AGES 6 WEEKS TO 5 YEARS)

MWR NAS Pensacola/Corry Station hosts two Child Development Centers (CDC) facilities located on base at NAS Pensacola and off-base housing behind NEX at Corry Station. Our program offers full-time and hourly care for children ages six weeks to five years old. Hourly care is based on availability and reservations can be made 30 days in advance.
