As a premier Navy Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) destination, this hidden gem is located approximately 9 miles outside of the NAS Pensacola west gate on the peaceful shores of the Perdido Bay, providing a quiet retreat for active-duty, reservists, retirees, VHIC and DoW cardholders, and their families. All patrons must present proper identification at the Welcome Center to access park facilities.

Blue Angel Recreation and RV Park offers a total of 149 RV sites (full- and partial- hookup), as well as fully furnished two-bedroom mobile homes, rustic one-bedroom cabins, and tent camping, as well as 170 dry storage lots. Additionally, Blue Angel Park features a 35-acre paintball field, three 18-hole disc golf courses, geocaching, hiking/biking trails, children’s playgrounds, beach access, a boat launch, picnic areas, and pavilion rentals. The facility’s Marina Outpost, located on the northwest region of the park, also offers a variety of recreational gear for rent, as well as food and beverage items such as ice, snacks, beverages, and more. Please see the links on the right side of this page for more information about our amenities and rates. Please note that overnight access is authorized for registered guests only. Gate code changes frequently. Unauthorized access after-hours will be reported to Base Security.

Traveling by land: From I-10, Exit 7 onto Pine Forest Rd (Hwy 297); follow to Blue Angel Pkwy (Hwy 173), turn right at light and stay on Hwy 173 until you reach the light at Hwy 98. Go west (right) on Hwy 98 for approximately 3.8 miles. Turn left on Bronson Road toward Blue Angel Park. Please stop to show your military or DoW identification card at the welcome center.

Campground

Blue Angel Park features three distinct areas and a wide range of accommodations, including 75 full-hookup RV sites (water, electric, and sewer) in Battleship Row, 72 water and electric only RV sites in Anchor Cove, 12 fully furnished two-bedroom mobile homes in Bos’N Court, 7 rustic one-room cabins, and a total of 16 tent sites. Both Battleship Row and Anchor Cove include convenient access to restrooms and showers, and quarter laundry facilities are available for all registered guests.

Mobile Homes: Each fully furnished two-bedroom, one-bathroom mobile home includes one queen-bed in the master bedroom, one full-size bed in the second bedroom, and one queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The kitchen has a 4-burner stove, oven, microwave, and refrigerator with ice maker, dishware, and cookware.

Cabins: Each rustic cabin includes one full-sized bed and is equipped with air and heat, a microwave, and a mini refrigerator.

Mobile Homes and Cabin reservations have a 2-day minimum. Linens are provided and replaced daily by request at 0900.

Attention Patrons: 
NASP instruction under downloads will go into effect 1 January 2021. The instruction outlines the management and policies for Oak Grove and Blue Angel RV parks.  Guests residing at Oak Grove Park and Blue Angel Park after a cumulative 90-day stay will have to depart all NASP RV park facilities for a minimum of 60 days before making a new reservation. Guests may stay for a maximum of 14 days; after they must depart for a minimum of 30 days. Sponsors of guests at Blue Angel Park must also be registered guest for the duration of their guests stay. No weapons are allowed on federal property. To check any firearms, contact Base Security at 850-452-6378 x3126.

Pavilion Rentals

The park offers four covered party pavilions of various sizes for rent as well as a food staging and picnic area that we call the “Dragon Inn”. The pavilions are complete with water, electricity, tables, BBQ pits and beach access. Restroom/shower facilities are nearby as well as a volleyball court, horseshoe pit, and playground. These facilities must be reserved in person with a military-issued ID and a contract filled out at the Outpost Marina. A deposit is required for reservation.

  • Large Pavilion (50 – 150 people): $200
  • Medium Pavilion (20 – 50 people): $100
  • Small Pavilion (10 - 20 people): $60

Day picnic areas with charcoal grills are available for small groups or families on a first come first serve basis.

Property Dry Storage

Prices: Military $55.00/month - DoW -$60.00/month

Documentation and Paperwork required at contract opening:

  • Military or DoW ID
  • Proof of residence within 100 miles of our storage facility (no P.O. Boxes)
  • Current Declarations Page of Insurance Policy of the property being stored. (Insurance cards are not acceptable forms of documentation.)
  • Current Registration of property being stored

Danger Zone Paintball 

Blue Angel Park's Danger Zone Paintball is an MWR operated Community Recreation program servicing Military and DoW members and their families. A Military or DoW ID card is required to rent equipment. Members of the public may use the field but must provide their own marker and safety equipment or have a Military or DoW sponsor to rent equipment. No outside paint is permitted. Paintballs and other retail items are available to everyone for purchase.

Danger Zone Paintball is a “Woods-Ball” facility with approx. 35 acres of wooded area for play. There are two separate fields with one “Party Field” which is available for reservation.

Danger Zone Paintball is currently open for PRIVATE PARTIES ONLY by reservation.

Disc Golf

Open to all authorized patrons. 

The Park offers three 18 hole championship disc golf courses. Every hole is a par three, designed by a pro-disc golf player to challenge both novice and professional. For those who have never played, the object is to get the disc into the basket in the fewest number of throws.  While there is no golf bag to carry, there are different weighted discs for different terrain and distances; a driver, a chipper, and a putter. 

Fees will be collected at the honor box that is located at the first pavilion. Water will not be provided, please bring your own water.
